This Website https://medliteracy.eu/ is operated by the civil non-profit ​​company under the name GIVMED Share Medicine Share Life, with its registered seat at Viktoros Ougko 15, Metaxourgeio, 10437 Greece, (also referred to as “GIVMED,” “us,” “we” and “our”).  

By accessing, visiting, browsing, using, or attempting to interact with any part of this website, you agree, on your own behalf personally, and on behalf of any entity for which you are an agent or you appear to represent, that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions (“the Terms”), as stated below. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms, please do not access or use any part of this website. The Terms govern your use of any website that displays, links, or refers to the Terms.

  1. Content of the website

The purpose of this website is to provide information on the MedLit Project: Training for Safer Use of Medication and Improving Health Literacy. This project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union under grant agreement 2024-1-DE02-KA220-ADU-000249494.  

MedLit aims to enhance awareness, knowledge, and skills in the safe use of medications and vaccines. Designed to promote pharmaceutical literacy among target groups such as adult educators, parents, carers, older adults, patients, especially those with a disadvantaged socio-economic background and finally children who will benefit from the project through parents and carers, the program offers a scientifically grounded and digital educational framework. 

Every effort has been made to ensure that the information contained on this website is accurate and up to date as possible. However, the website includes an archive of information and thus by its nature, the information may only pertain to the period around the date of publication and time may render some information out of date. ​​     ​The laws of Greece shall apply to this Agreement between you and GIVMED without regard to any conflict of laws provisions.  

GIVMED will make all efforts to solve any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement or your use of the website or the Content through discussion and amicable settlement. If such efforts fail, the controversy or claim (a “Dispute”) shall be brought solely in the ​​Courts of Athens, Greece and you hereby irrevocably consent to exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.  

You further acknowledge that GIVMED may seek equitable remedies against you such as a preliminary or permanent injunction and GIVMED’s rights in its reputation and intellectual property are of a special, unique, extraordinary character, giving those rights peculiar value, the unauthorized use, damage, disclosure, or loss of which cannot be readily estimated and may not be adequately compensated for in monetary damages. 

If any part of this Agreement is unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that part will be deemed severable, shall be modified by the court of competent jurisdiction to reflect to the maximum extent possible the original intention of the parties as reflected by the original wording and if not possible shall be severed from this Agreement, and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. 

No waiver by GIVMED of any breach or default hereunder shall be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default. 

You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and GIVMED as a result of this agreement or use of the website. 

Except as set forth in this Agreement, this Agreement constitutes the entire agreement among the parties relating to this subject matter and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written between the user and GIVMED with respect to the website or the Content.
